The V-day Surprise♥

I don't recall celebrating Valentines day on the day itself. Since Bien and have been a couple, we do our post-Valentine getaway. We had our first in Baguio and opted to have our second at Manila Chinatown along with the celebration of the Chinese New Year. Our vday had always been about traveling and going somewhere else new.

But today it's just so much special than those we had in the first two years of our relationship...

As I mentioned in my past posts, Bien's not your typical romantic guy that gives in to the essence of flowers and chocolates but he sure has ways to make that up with a one- big-unique-surprise. His vacay planning skills are extreme. I tell you guys, you have no idea how he works his brain off with the booking and itinerary. But more than taking me to beautiful places, Bien's a very sweet guy and is now learning the element of surprise.

While I was at work, I didn't know that he's somewhere else with his cousin Marie buying flowers and my favorite Ferrero Rocher..

The moment I entered the door, he handed these to me with a big-awkward smile on his face. I say awkward because even if this isn't his first time to give a surprise, he still is not used to it. He walked towards my direction while helping Saab carry the bouquet of a variety of beautiful flowers. This I think is the most expensive bouquet he had given me to date. See my husband is the matipid type of guy but he didn't bother to spend that much just to make this day memorable.

I love you hon♥ I just can't thank you enough for all the surprises you've had thought of and had given to me. I know this is not your thing but you give in to the thought once in a while and make me belong to the crowd of the happiest girls in the world. Yes, these things may be the most mababaw you've done in your life but they give simple yet genuine happiness.

P.S. I've seen the video you and Saab recorded this morning for me and I cried. But I can't help myself but laugh at Saab's sleepy gestures. You both are the best♥ Next time sama si Ccino ha... haha!
